Temporary Group Fitness Closure

As you may have heard, the Alberta government has ordered temporary closures for group fitness classes. This temporary closure started November 27, 2020.

Here is our response to the closure:



Our 26+ drop-in yoga classes per week + workshops + trainings will continue to be offered VIRTUALLY. We are dedicated to supporting you for the days ahead. To signup click here.



Our brick and mortar boutique is open and our open hours can be found here. If you are not ready to come back in person, many of our great local and ethical products are available online by clicking here.

We are so grateful to each of you who consider yourself part of our community, please feel our support at your back as we all walk through the days ahead together.

Please read the important information below before coming in to the studio.



1. Do you have any of the below symptoms:


  • Fever

  • Cough

  • Shortness of Breath / Difficulty Breathing

  • Sore throat

  • Chills

  • Painful swallowing

  • Runny Nose / Nasal Congestion

  • Feeling unwell / Fatigued

  • Nausea / Vomiting / Diarrhea

  • Unexplained loss of appetite

  • Loss of sense of taste or smell

  • Muscle/ Joint aches

  • Headache

  • Conjunctivitis


2. Have you, or anyone in your household, returned from travel outside of Canada in the last 14 days?


3. Have you or anyone in your household been in close unprotected contact (face-to-face contact within two-metres) with someone who is ill with cough and/or fever?


4. Have you or anyone in your household been in close unprotected contact in the last 14 days with someone who is being investigated or confirmed to be a case of COVID19?


If you have answered “YES” to any of the above questions do not come to the studio. Proceed home and use the AHS Online Assessment Tool to determine if testing is recommended.


  • A new HVAC air filtration systems that includes HEPA (filters particulates) and UV light (kills airborne pathogens) to maximize the air quality of our space.

  • Increased cleaning protocols.

  • First thing on entering YogaMcc, use hand sanitizer.

  • Confirm that you have done the Screening Checklist and confirm that you answer “no” to each question.

  • There are physical distancing markers on the floor so that people can stay 2 m apart while they are waiting in line at reception or shopping in the boutique.

  • People shopping in the boutique must be 2 m apart at all times. Please do not touch items you do not intend to buy. 

  • We have activated the tap function on our point of sale system to reduce touch points.

  • Exit through the back door to maintain a one way flow in and out of the centre.


Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

  • We encourage shoppers to wear a mask in the reception area and boutique.

  • We will have some reusable cloth masks available for sale at the front desk.
