YogaMcc is Calgary's premier studio for yoga and meditation and has been located in the trendy neighbourhood of Marda Loop for over 20 years.


We offer a wide variety of yoga and meditation classes. Through registered, drop-in, workshops and retreats, we strive to deliver an experience that meets and exceeds the needs of our students. Explore a gentle hatha or a challenging flow, a customized yoga therapy or a reflective nidra, our schedule is designed to offer a class suitable for multiple levels and interests.

Chances are we know your name! If we don’t yet, we want to. It’s our commitment to get to know our students by understanding their intentions for practice, plus any physical challenges that may affect their practice. Our class sizes are intentionally kept smaller. This allows us to better serve our students’ needs, ensure their safety and foster a strong sense of sangha (community).  

Yoga & Meditation

Our teachers have extensive training in Yoga Therapy, Critical Alignment, Hatha, Restorative, Nidra, Vinyasa, Iyengar, Yin, Myofascial and ISHTA. Don't know what any of those words mean? No problem, most of our classes are appropriate for beginners. Our meditation teachers have sat for a minimum of 15 years and been given permission to teach from their teachers. The schedule reflects our teachers expertise by offering a variety of levels and styles.


Lifestyle Boutique

Not sure what you need to get started doing yoga and meditation? Not to worry, we have you covered. The YogaMcc yoga and meditation lifestyle boutique offers the city’s largest selection of merchandise and props for yoga and meditation.  We are here to assist our practitioners in expanding their home practice or providing the opportunity to deepen self-study.​ We are also passionate about supporting local businesses and have carefully curated our boutique to bring you the very best local products. Each item in our boutique has been handpicked for its quality, functionality, and commitment to ethical industry. 

Preparing for your first class.

  • Choose your pass. Check out our Intro Offer to come for 2 weeks unlimited drop-in offerings and experience all our classes and teachers. Or join one of our registered classes for a more intimate approach to yoga and meditation. Registered classes have a set start and finish date.

  • If you have opted for the Intro Offer, the next step is to choose your drop-in class. 

  • Pre-register for your class to guarantee your spot. Our classes are now offered as hybrid. You will see classes identified by [In Studio], [Virtual] or [Hybrid] when you register online.

  • Wear whatever is comfortable for you to move around in.

  • Bring your yoga mat and a water bottle. We have spring water available.

  • Please arrive 15 minutes before your class and give yourself enough time to find parking to make it to class on time.  

  • ​Sign in for every class by saying hello to our friendly staff at the front desk and let them know your name and what class you will be attending.

  • Enjoy your class and connection with community!

  • If you need some grounding after class, help yourself to our complimentary tea and cookies.
